horseriding A NEW BGS ACTIVITY

FIRST MEETING: THURSDAY 28 May 2009 at 8.30pm, in the bar of the stables (upstairs) : a practical test will be organised to group the riders according to their levels.

Beginners should preferably come equiped with long pants (tracksuit style - no seams at the knees and loose fitting to allow for movement) and gym style shoes (without hooks). Experienced riders should come with their riding gear. Riding caps can be borrowed from the riding school.

When?
Every Thursday, group lessons

from 7.30pm – 8.30pm for beginners and experienced riders
from 8.30pm – 9.30pm for galopping and jumping

To guarantee the saftey and quality of the lessons, each session will be limited to twelve people. Those who wish to groom their horse themselves (optional) are requested to arrive in time to do so before the lesson.

First time: How and when?

How?

By contacting Frank, Wednesday evening at the latest, so you can pass the mandatory and free test to determine your level.

When?

Every Thursday at 8.20pm (10 minutes before the beginners lesson).

Price

12 € per lesson (this includes the monitor and horse of course !)

Card obligatory (10 lessons): 120 euros, stamped at the beginning of every lesson

IMPORTANT: Membership of the BGS is essential to ensure that you are covered by the insurance which is included in the annual membership fee of 15 €.

And that's not all

OUTINGS

If sufficient riders of the same level are interested, a two hour outing will be organised one weekend a month. More information to follow later.

EXTRAS

gymkhanas, barbecues, evening activities and other events will also be organised.
