Do you think the tango is too difficult? Think again! And come take advantage of a unique opportunity to try Queer Tango right here in Brussels. All the rage in Buenos Aires, the Queer Tango is not only danced by male/male and female/female pairs. It also allows each partner to be the lead or the follower, thereby allowing everyone to dance together.
So keep Tuesday evening free in order to come take part in this intensive, highly enjoyable dance experience. Let the rhythm and music take you away, so that you forget about everything else, getting lost in the movement of your body and that of your partner. Let the Argentine tango, its steps, figures and music, take you dancing across the Atlantic.
Dance teacher Mariano Bolfarini is the heart and soul of this activity. Through his expertise, he will help you master all the steps and have a fun time along the way. Fits of laughter are not uncommon in Mariano's classes!
Mariano boasts an extensive career, both in Argentina and abroad, as an Argentine dance teacher and choreographer in several dance companies. He also took part in various TV and film projects, including « Tango » by Carlos Saura. Since 2001 he has been based in Brussels, where he teaches the tango and traditional Argentine dances to the general public.
